Complex and Silky
Eight-year-old, 100% blue agave, aged 24 months in a blend of American and French oak barrels, 40% ABV. Visually, it is crystalline with a clean golden-yellow color, highlighted by golden hues and a full, rich body. The aroma is complex and expressive, featuring delicate notes of bitter chocolate, spices, and wood, along with intensely sweet cooked agave complemented by caramel, vanilla, coffee, and tobacco from barrel aging. On the palate, it is silky and smooth, with layers of caramel, wood, dark chocolate, and subtle vanilla, finishing with a soft, sweet, and lingering aftertaste. Ideal with chocolate desserts, crepes, or enjoyed as a digestive. This añejo was recognized as a 2013 Gold Medal Winner in the Añejo category.
