The Binè brothers, Niccolò and Lorenzo, have succeeded in crafting exceptional red wines from the southern part of Piemonte, where Barbera—a vibrant cousin of Nebbiolo, the region’s king—shines. Primo Ottobre is a full-bodied Barbera, with a profile that’s both intriguing and mouthwatering. Harvested on the 1st of October, the grapes are aged for 18 months in oak barrels, adding layers of licorice, pepper, and tobacco to their bouquet. Perfect with hearty dishes, this wine offers a finish that lingers with satisfaction.
