Kenzo Estate
Kenzo Estate, the namesake winery of Kenzo and Natsuko Tsujimoto, is set on their 3,800-acre Napa Valley property, with just 4% of the land dedicated to vineyards. Managed by renowned viticulturist David Abreu and crafted by winemaker Marc Nanes, the estate produces award-winning wines from Bordeaux varietals, benefiting from the unique terroir and diverse soils of the region. Situated at 1,550 feet, the vineyards are cooled by marine fog from San Pablo Bay, which extends the growing season and helps preserve natural acidity. The result is fruit of exceptional flavor, depth, and elegance, showcased in wines that are celebrated globally.

Kenzo Estate’s story began when Kenzo Tsujimoto, founder of the Japanese video game company Capcom, acquired a 3,800-acre property in Napa Valley in 1990. Initially purchased by Capcom as a potential business expansion, Kenzo soon recognized the land’s potential as a serene retreat and decided to pursue his passion for winemaking. After Capcom's business plans for the property fell through, Kenzo purchased it from the company and began the journey to develop it into a world-class vineyard. In 1998, vineyard development began with the planting of Bordeaux varietals, and by 2005, the first harvest was realized. Under the guidance of renowned viticulturist David Abreu, the estate’s wines began to take shape, with Kenzo's vision to create exceptional, terroir-driven wines coming to fruition.
