Domaine Rolly Gassmann is a family-run estate of independent winegrowers and harvesters based in the heart of Alsace, in the village of Rorschwihr. With deep respect for nature and a philosophy rooted in biodynamic principles, the estate cultivates 51 hectares of vineyards using natural infusions and follows cosmic rhythms to preserve the purity of the fruit. The Gassmann family traces its winemaking heritage back to 1611, in a village known for its vineyards since the year 742. Rorschwihr boasts an extraordinary geological diversity with 21 distinct types of limestone-rich subsoils, which contribute to the character of the estate's 12 historically recognised crus. The domaine operates with a dedicated team of 10, managing both the vineyards and cellar, and proudly remains outside the mass retail market. Today, their wines are found in Michelin-starred restaurants and fine wine boutiques around the world, with each bottle reflecting centuries of tradition, a deep connection to the land, and an unwavering commitment to quality.
