Piccini 1882
Piccini 1882 is a family-owned Italian wine group rooted in Tuscany, with a history spanning more than 140 years and five generations. Today, the company produces and markets wines from some of Italy’s most renowned wine regions, from Tuscany and Piedmont to Veneto, Basilicata and Sicily. With a strong focus on expressing the character of each territory while embracing a modern and contemporary approach, Piccini has grown into an internationally recognized producer, with its wines enjoyed in more than 90 countries.
The Piccini story began in 1882, when Angiolo Piccini founded a small winery in Poggibonsi, in the heart of Tuscany’s Chianti hills. His son Mario took over in 1925 and expanded the business, helping Piccini reach international markets. In the following generations, the family continued to grow its presence across Tuscany, investing in renowned areas such as Chianti Classico and Maremma, before expanding into other Italian wine regions. Today, the fifth generation of the Piccini family continues to lead the company, combining more than a century of tradition with innovation and a vision for the future of Italian wine.
