For several years, the team of the castle tends to reason its agriculture. At Château Castera, this translates into grassing in the rows, limiting the use of pesticides, setting aside old plots, plowing under the cavaillon, and treating wine-growing and wine-growing effluents.

Although very attentive to the progress of technology, the production of Château Castéra wines respects  traditional methods of vinification  :
rigorous sorting of the grapes, daily pumping over, temperature regulation, vatting for 18 to 22 days. The search for balance  between the tannins of the wood and those of the grape is preponderant in order to respect the reflection of the character
of the terroir and the fruit brought by the grape variety.
