Made from 100% native Sagrantino grapes, this limited-production Passito is hand-harvested and naturally dried to concentrate flavor and structure. Aged in barrique and bottle, it reveals deep ruby hues with aromas of blackberry, currant, spice, and vanilla. Rich yet refined, with smooth tannins and long persistence, it is a wine of great character—perfect for meditation or pairing with aged cheeses, desserts, and chocolate.

The background is the special Umbria Region, full of history and culture, where the act of every farmer is full of folk wisdom, simplicity, passion and sacrifice.
The family’s philosophy is influenced by the history of men working in fields, surrounded by the rare beauty of it’s hilly landscape.
In 2002, the Valentini family continued their tradition by establishing Bocale, a winery in Montefalco. "Bocale" refers to a two-liter mug of wine or olive oil, and it's also the family nickname. Their Montefalco Rosso and Montefalco Sagrantino wines blend innovation with tradition, respecting environmental cycles and handcrafted processes to create natural, personality-filled wines.
