Fabio Tassi hand picks the grapes for each vintage of La Fortezza which is then fermented in concrete for 8-10 days and aged in wooden barrels for 12 months. Notes of roasted tomato, red cherry and prune dominate on the palate and nose. Sangiovese from Tassi di Montalcino is an experience no matter which bottle you choose to try.
