Rich & Bold
2018 was a mild season which allowed for long and slow maturation. The lack of major heat waves and virtually no rain during harvest allowed them to pick every vineyard block at optimal ripeness. Robust structures and rich flavors are consistent throughout the vintage. Home Ranch Vineyard delivered intense blueberry flavors and rich tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon lots from neighboring vineyards in southern Sonoma Valley were blended in, resulting in a complex cuvée. The wine was aged for 20 months in 70% new French oak barrels from top coopers Darnajou, Taransaud and Bel Air.
About the Winery
Sojourn Cellars
In 2001, Sojourn Cellars began as a collaboration between two friends–Craig Haserot and Erich Bradley who decided to produce small batches of Cabernet Sauvignon, to sell to friends and family. Over the next ten years they grew to produce 21 unique wines, earning critical acclaim, and establishing customers worldwide. What began as a personal journey has evolved into a first-class boutique winery that crafts high-quality artisan Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

Juicy & Savoury
This Pinot Noir in the family of Sojourn Cellars uses a blend of its single vineyard Pinot Noir by blending all of these world class Pinot Noir clones, creating a deep complexity and textural layering. The mouthfeel is a standout quality of this wine, one that will linger with a long finish. Strawberry liquorice, blood orange and stewed plums will first meet you on the palate. For the nose, nutmeg notes, clove and a bouquet of violet.

Rich & Luxurious
This red is from a single vineyard known as F-block, within the Vineyard Georges III, in Rutherford. This particular wine is a very decorated member of the Sojourn Family and is known for a decadently complex nose. This includes, charcoal, forest floor, smokey leather and mossy earth. The palate delivers lots of cassis, dark fruit, oak, vanilla, and dark chocolate.

This mixed case includes 1 bottle of each:
2017 Behrens The Anchor Cabernet Sauvignon:
There is weight to this wine. A sense of earth and forest floor, yet an airiness that hints of salinity and ocean breeze. It is dense and brooding with layers of cocoa roasted plums, and firm tannins to keep it all contained. Not to go overboard on this, but the name is very fitting to this bottle, to this time and place.
2018 Anderson's Conn Valley Napa Cabernet Sauvignon:
This Cabernet blend shows lots of black fruit on the palate, dominated by blackberry pie and black currant. There is a deep richness in this Cab but it is surprisingly medium-bodied. Due to its meticulously handcrafted care in vinification, this wine has an aging potential of 10-12 years for optimal drinking and development of complexities. Todd drives this winery with a full-on natural approach with zero human intervention past harvest and barrel ageing.
2019 Sojourn Cellars Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon:
The pride of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is influential amongst the Napa heavyweights. The soil composition of rocky clay and loam, which are iron rich, are a major component to this powerful and structured wine. The nose and palate are both dominant with blackberry, cassis, mocha, and raspberry.

Intense & Elegant
The small clusters of the 2022 vintage allowed us to make Chardonnays with appealing intensity, balance, and nuance. Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the region – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the region. We picked and fermented each component of this blend separately and aged them all for 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The resulting blend offers compelling new world aromas with fresh acidity and focus, reminiscent of the old world.

Robust & Spicy
The 2021 vintage offers exceptional depth and intensity. Gap’s Crown Vineyard grapes matured at an even pace allowing us to pick each block at optimal maturity. We fermented the entire 828 block 100% whole cluster, adding verve and spice notes to the finished blend. Flavours are robust with aromas of dark berry and cherry with hints of baking spice. Gap’s Crown is a premier vineyard, sitting at a windy 800 feet with distinctive volcanic soils. Much of the wine’s intensity derives from vine stress caused by the site’s steep slopes and rocky soils.

Juicy & Savoury
One of the best values in the Sojourn portfolio, the 2021 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir brings together several unique lots from five vineyards spread across the AVA. The Walala and Gap’s Crown Vineyard components shine in this blend, resulting in an intense wine with rich texture. It offers balance and depth with fresh acidity and silky structure. This vintage has lifted red and dark fruit aromas, sage and earth, leading to a long finish. It is a pleasure to drink in its youth but will also reward a few years in your cellar..

Crisp & Lively
We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Sojourn portfolio, the inaugural release of the Brut Sparkling wine. This Brut (dry) wine was produced via Méthode Champenoise, the traditional method by which Champagne is made, in which the wine is fermented a second time in bottle. This secondary fermentation creates the delightful effervescence we so closely associate with celebration. The crafted this wine with merriment in mind. It offers aromas of crisp yellow apple, ripe pear and toasted brioche, alongside a luscious palate with flavors of lively lemon, panna cotta, soft spice and a fine mousse.
