    Robust & Spicy

The 2021 vintage offers exceptional depth and intensity. Gap’s Crown Vineyard grapes matured at an even pace allowing us to pick each block at optimal maturity. We fermented the entire 828 block 100% whole cluster, adding verve and spice notes to the finished blend. Flavours are robust with aromas of dark berry and cherry with hints of baking spice. Gap’s Crown is a premier vineyard, sitting at a windy 800 feet with distinctive volcanic soils. Much of the wine’s intensity derives from vine stress caused by the site’s steep slopes and rocky soils.

    About the Winery

    Sojourn Cellars

In 2001, Sojourn Cellars began as a collaboration between two friends–Craig Haserot and Erich Bradley who decided to produce small batches of Cabernet Sauvignon, to sell to friends and family. Over the next ten years they grew to produce 21 unique wines, earning critical acclaim, and establishing customers worldwide. What began as a personal journey has evolved into a first-class boutique winery that crafts high-quality artisan Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

    Complex & Aromatic

The bouquet is quiet yet brimming with potential, offering whispers of wild mint, thyme, and tart red berries beneath a veil of sweet and savory spices. The palate reveals a refined structure, its elegant tannins accentuating dried cherry flavors, while a savory undercurrent hints at complexity to be unlocked by years in the cellar.

    About the Winery

    Domenico Clerico

Located at the heart of Barolo in Monforte d’Alba, the Domenico Clerico estate has been making iconic wines since 1976, when the eponymous young winemaker took the reins. Beginning with just a small 4-hectare farm inherited from his father, Domenico sought out the best undiscovered plots in Barolo, thus pioneering the idea of single cru wines.

    Rounded & Fruity

Agata is a lovely, refined white that offers a more complex and viscous character than one typically expects from Pinot Grigio. Aromas of nectarine and golden apple are supported by subtle floral and herbal undertones. On the palate, it’s fruity and rounded—fleshy white fruits like pear and melon give way to citrus curd, with a gentle acidity and minerality that lift the mid-palate while revealing secondary notes of stone fruits, honeysuckle, and orange blossom.

This wine is unfiltered, preserving its natural texture and depth.

Tecla is a brilliant salmon-pink wine with a nose of crushed rose petals, wild strawberries, raspberries, and citrus. It offers taut freshness on the palate with red berry flavors, hints of blood orange and rosehip, silky texture, and a crisp finish with a hint of pepper and balanced acidity. It pairs elegantly with light pasta dishes, pan-fried scallops, charcuterie, and mild cheeses, making it ideal for dates and picnics.

    Enveloping & Fresh

Daphne is vibrant ruby red, with purple reflections and good transparency. The nose offers a dense bouquet of perfumes, in which the red rose, geranium, ripe red cherry, sweet wild strawberry, some grains of black pepper, and a balsamic puff are perceived. On the palate, she is taut and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness, a marked flavor, and a soft and well-integrated tannin that delicately accompanies the fruit and spice to the end of the sip. Served chilled, it proves to be an excellent companion for a variety of appetizers or a delicate fish fillet, while served at a slightly higher temperature, it goes well with more elaborate dishes, such as risotto with tench or a roast suckling pig.

    Intense and Savory

The 2021 Riesling Ockfener Bockstein Spätlese (White Capsule) is clear, pure, and intense on the aromatic but crunchy and slatey nose that reveals notes of fresh-squeezed lemons and aromatic herbs. Lush and savory on the palate, this is a juicy, intense, and saline, very mineral or savory Bockstein with a long and stimulating saline and crystalline finish.
It's a classical style with good concentration and intensity but rather thrifty in fruit ripeness. However, this should be a terrific Saar Riesling in the long distance.

    Silky and Intense

The 2020 Pinot Noir Einstern* has a very dark color (it has never been this dark-colored before) and opens with a deep, intense concentrated, wonderfully saline, and slatey bouquet of ripe dark fruits, including cherries and blackberries, as well as toasty notes. Silky and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, lush, and concentrated, smooth but also tight Pinot with a crystalline and intense finish. The wine is stringent and intense, representing a dry and warm vintage with several heat waves.

Excitingly pure and focused on the terroir characteristics and the fine but concentrated berry and cherry fruit that is obviously based on French genetics, the 2020 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Klostergarten ** opens with an intense yet refined and bright, iodine-scented bouquet of dark forest berries intertwined with flinty notes of crushed slate and quartzite. Silky and immensely juicy yet fresh on the vital and highly finessed palate, this is an intense, tight complex, minerally tensioned and mouth-tickling, even iodine Pinot with ripe and fine tannins intertwined with the crystalline and saline acidity.

    Luminous and Seductive

The 2020 Riesling Bernkasteler Lay Auslese ** (White Capsule) is pure, refined, and fresh on the precise and concentrated but bright and shining, transcendental nose that is intense and ripe but doesn't show any tropical fruit aromas. Crystalline, highly refined and saline on the palate, this is a rich and very intense Riesling whose electric acidity takes all the weight and concentration up a steep flight to heaven, where the wine flies possibly forever like a satellite around the globe. The finish is so juicy, so saline and so precise that one can't leave the glass without a sense of wonder. So much finesse and intensity in one glass.

Picture a glass of pale straw-yellow wine, with faint green reflections shimmering in the light. Its aroma is a delicate bouquet of white flowers, underscored by the inviting notes of pink grapefruit and the crispness of green apple.
When you sip, the wine is dry and refreshing, with a hint of salinity that enhances its freshness. It dances lightly on your lively and vibrant palate, leaving a lingering taste that echoes with mineral nuances. This wine embodies a perfect balance of brightness and elegance, offering a delightful sensory experience that is both refreshing and memorable.

    About the Winery

    Cantina Roccafiore

For Leonardo Baccarelli, savouring a glass of wine has always meant the measured enjoyment of a product rich in meaning. From the predilection for the South Tyrolean Schiava, able to combine finesse and levity, came the desire to replicate this sense of poise in Umbria. The project was started towards the end of the 1990s with the desire to realise a clear vision: bring to life a concept untied in its constituent components – the landscape, climate, vines, tradition – in a perspective that looked towards innovation as a bridge to the future, without falling into nostalgic temptations. The graduality in acting, devoid of uncertainties, has forged a business model upheld by sustainability and the development of the territory.

Moscato d'Asti Lumine come from vines ranging from 20-35 years old. There is a tedious yearly decision of what time to hand harvest the grapes to produce the perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. The terroir these grapes grow on is an ideal combination of marine sediment and limestone. This allows for complex notes on the nose including, scents of sage, rosemary and musk. The palate is bright with hints of tropical fruits, green apple and stone fruits such as, peach and apricot. The bubbles on this wine are very fine and elegant, notice their small size as they rise in your glass.
