    Balanced & Creamy

The Napa Valley boasted “beautiful, steady conditions” for the 2018 growing season and harvest. Rain was abundant in February, and endless days of sunshine followed with the buds emerging from the dormant vines. Vines flowered uniformly, paving the way for even cluster development. Cabernet Sauvignon benefitted from warm days and cool nights, resulting in extended hang time.

The 2018 JNC Chardonnay has bright aromatics of Meyer lemon, orange blossom and hints of flint. The brilliant citrus on the palate is balanced by the richness derived from aging on the lees. The creamy texture and lively acid core ends with a long finish of lemon tart.

    About the Winery

    Crisp & Lively

We are pleased to announce the latest addition to the Sojourn portfolio, the inaugural release of the Brut Sparkling wine. This Brut (dry) wine was produced via Méthode Champenoise, the traditional method by which Champagne is made, in which the wine is fermented a second time in bottle. This secondary fermentation creates the delightful effervescence we so closely associate with celebration. The crafted this wine with merriment in mind. It offers aromas of crisp yellow apple, ripe pear and toasted brioche, alongside a luscious palate with flavors of lively lemon, panna cotta, soft spice and a fine mousse.

    About the Winery

    Sojourn Cellars

In 2001, Sojourn Cellars began as a collaboration between two friends–Craig Haserot and Erich Bradley who decided to produce small batches of Cabernet Sauvignon, to sell to friends and family. Over the next ten years they grew to produce 21 unique wines, earning critical acclaim, and establishing customers worldwide. What began as a personal journey has evolved into a first-class boutique winery that crafts high-quality artisan Pinot noir, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

    Juicy & Savoury

One of the best values in the Sojourn portfolio, the 2021 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir brings together several unique lots from five vineyards spread across the AVA. The Walala and Gap’s Crown Vineyard components shine in this blend, resulting in an intense wine with rich texture. It offers balance and depth with fresh acidity and silky structure. This vintage has lifted red and dark fruit aromas, sage and earth, leading to a long finish. It is a pleasure to drink in its youth but will also reward a few years in your cellar..

    Intense and Lively

This is Relic's second bottling from Putnam Vineyard in Annapolis, and it's even better. The 2015 vintage, known for low yields and warmth, delivers an intense, concentrated Pinot Noir with supple liveliness. Despite its cool climate influence, expect vibrant aromatics of Asian spice, dried herbs, thimbleberry, strawberry, and white pepper. The palate is rich and full, with intense flavors, excellent acidity, and sweet, supple tannins that lead to a lasting finish.

    About the Winery

    Relic Wine Cellars

The founding philosophy of Relic wines is and has always been to use the old methods to make the most authentic, complex and delicious wines possible. To do this successfully and to make world-class wines of every vintage, every detail needs to be prepared for, recognized when it occurs, celebrated and adapted to. There is no standard recipe, only the passion of the founders working in concert with nature, and to Mike and Schatzi, this is when true beauty occurs.

    Crisp and Delicate

This Mosel Riesling opens with a clear, cool, and distinctly varietal nose, followed by a surprisingly dense and aroma-intensive palate that remains lively and expressive, gradually revealing its refined mineral finesse in a long, elegant finish; harvested in October from classic Riesling vineyards, the grapes were gently crushed with several hours of skin contact, fermented spontaneously at low temperatures to preserve vibrant fruit, and matured extensively on the lees in stainless steel and large wooden vats for added depth and complexity.

    Dierberg Star Lane Vineyards

Founded in 1996, owners Jim and Mary Dierberg began this journey with the intent of creating World-Class wines from three different AVA’s in Santa Barbara County. The evolution of Dierberg and Star Lane Vineyards began by planting vineyards in both Santa Maria Valley and at the beautiful Star Lane Ranch in Happy Canyon. With the final addition of the Drum Canyon Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills, Jim and Mary were able to achieve their vision of harvesting and crafting unique, terroir-driven wines that capture the best of these three distinctive sites.

The 2020 Riesling Erdener Prälat Auslese *** (White Capsule) is super impressive on the deep and pure, highly concentrated, slightly minty and layered nose, with iodine, flint and very elegant slate aromas with ripe and lush stone fruit. Crystalline, refined and pristine on the palate, this is a powerful but even more energetic and tensioned Prälat with zesty lemon bitters on the enormously complex and sustainable finish that reveals very fine oak tannins. The Prälat is bone dry due to its spectacular sugar-free extract.

The 2021 vintage offers exceptional depth and intensity. Gap’s Crown Vineyard grapes matured at an even pace allowing us to pick each block at optimal maturity. We fermented the entire 828 block 100% whole cluster, adding verve and spice notes to the finished blend. Flavours are robust with aromas of dark berry and cherry with hints of baking spice. Gap’s Crown is a premier vineyard, sitting at a windy 800 feet with distinctive volcanic soils. Much of the wine’s intensity derives from vine stress caused by the site’s steep slopes and rocky soils.
