Bright & Complex
For every vintage of Vigna Vecchia the family sets aside exactly 1,330 bottles in their cellar to age and release in September of the fifth year after harvest. This particular 2015 vintage is a product of the 2009 harvest season. This wine is made from the oldest vines of the entire vineyards, which are around 60 years old and have a higher density of growth then the younger vines. This wine is derived from just three plots that sit upon the Valdivilla Hills, which cover a hectare of land. This being the most coveted and complex wine in the family, it makes sense that this hectare of land is dominant with limestone soils and the perfect south exposure to the sun, both contributing to the wines signature freshness and minerality.

Nuanced & Soft
This pecorino is aromatic and bright. It is so soft and elegant while being complex with an array of nuances. White peach, melon, and subtle saltiness are the main umbrella of notes. This wine is perfectly medium bodied with medium acidity. During the vinification process, the skins are very carefully removed to avoid maceration. This white can be paired like a red wine due to its rich texture and structure. Play around with roast chicken, lamb, Italian sausage, ripe cheeses and charcuterie.

Elegant & Vibrant
The 2019 Aequitas Vineyard Chardonnay Sonoma Coast (Larson Vineyard) is medium golden in the glass; the bouquet offers aromas of melon, citrus blossom, a light hint of warm butter, and bruised apple. The aromatics are elegant. The palate is richly flavored and shows varietal characteristics rather than being masked by oak or by buttery characteristics. It offers flavors of apple, key lime, a mandarin note, and a hint of hazelnut on the finish. Its texture is rounded but not creamy. The finish is bright, lively, and long-lasting; this is a very food-friendly Chardonnay.

Zesty and Lively
This Riesling from the Saar region offers an alluring bouquet of ripe peach and apricot, complemented by a subtle hint of honeyed sweetness. Its palate is defined by vibrant acidity, harmoniously balancing the rich fruit flavors of green apple and citrus. The wine's complexity is enhanced by a delicate minerality that adds depth, along with a touch of floral notes reminiscent of elderflower. Ending on a crisp and refreshing note, the finish leaves a lingering impression of zesty citrus and a subtle mineral essence, making it a delightful choice for Riesling enthusiasts.

Herbal & Balanced
Lidia Levi, sister of Romano—the “angelic grappaiolo”—knew the rich herbs of the Langhe well. She skillfully blended their aromas with the bitter Chinotto of Savona and the fragrant Bergéggi oranges, creating artistic infusions held in her brother’s grappa bottles that showcased the region’s intense scents.
Her ancient recipe now inspires the “Amaro della Donna Selvatica,” combining gentian, elderflower, sage, and hops. These aromas are perfectly embraced by Romano Levi’s grappa, enhancing the amaro’s expertly balanced, pleasant bitterness.About the Winery
Distilleria Romano Levi
The Romano Levi Distillery is a small, artisanal distillery located in Neive, in the heart of the Langhe region of Piedmont, Italy. It is famous worldwide for producing high-quality, traditional grappa using an ancient direct-fire copper alembic still—one of the last still in use today. The distillery is known not only for the purity and craftsmanship of its spirits but also for the unique, hand-drawn labels featuring the “Wild Woman” figure, created by Romano Levi himself. Today, it is considered both a working museum and a symbol of Italian heritage, officially recognized as a “Place of Memory and Tradition” by the Consorzio of Langhe, Roero, and Monferrato.

Rich & Aromatic
Intense, ruby red colour. It fills your nostrils with sensations of cherry preserve, caramelized blackberries, and a potpourri of rose petals and dried violets. Balsamic hints of resin and musk, and spicy ones of cloves, cinnamon, and star anise complete the bouquet. At first it is powerful and warming on the palate, but the sensation of high alcohol is immediately counterbalanced by a juicy freshness and nice tanginess which, alongside quite evident tannins, give the taste vigour and energy. Delicious hints of cherries and berries preserved in alcohol make the long finish particularly pleasing.

Creamy & Complex
The grapes for this white wine are all hand-picked at harvest and then meticulously stored in a cold storage for 24 hours. Utilizing cool temperate control before fermentation is a signature of Torre de Palma and this creates a crystal-like texture of minerality. This elegant and sophisticated white wine is stored in oak barrels from Burgundy giving it a nice toasty brioche nuance. Other notes on this wine are beeswax, roasted hazelnuts, grapefruit, honeydew, saline and nectarine.
About the Winery
Torre De Palma
Torre de Palma winery offers a truly unique experience as it’s situated within a boutique hotel at the heart of the Alto Alentejo wine region, more specifically in Monforte, Portalegre.
