The result is a citrus-juniper forward gin with floral undertones and a bold, slightly spicy profile. Aged for 36 months on the lees, this gin is perfect for classic cocktails such as Gin & Tonics, Collins, and Martinis. Jindea Single Estate Tea Gin is a collaboration between three industry professionals whose collective CV encompasses all facets of the drinks business from bartender/mixologist and bar owner and operator to spirits merchant and brand ambassador. The three enlisted the help of the UK’s 1st ‘Master’ Tea Sommelier and Co-Owner of Camelia’s Tea House in London, Ajit Madan, to help source the tea botanical for the JINDEA. Their search ended when Ajit introduced them to a first flush Darjeeling Tea called Exotic Thunder referenced above.

Intense & Elegant
The small clusters of the 2022 vintage allowed us to make Chardonnays with appealing intensity, balance, and nuance. Our Sonoma Coast Chardonnay showcases three of the top vineyards in the region – Sangiacomo, Durell, and Gap’s Crown – with the goal of creating a cuvée that illustrates the varietal’s exceptional character across the region. We picked and fermented each component of this blend separately and aged them all for 11 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The resulting blend offers compelling new world aromas with fresh acidity and focus, reminiscent of the old world.

The mouthfeel is a standout quality of this wine, one that will linger with a long finish. Strawberry liquorice, blood orange and stewed plums will first meet you on the palate. For the nose, nutmeg notes, clove and a bouquet of violet.

This coastal Cabernet is a must have in your collection, a stunningly silky and elegant expression. Nuances on the nose and palate show black fruit and lots of florality, blackcurrant, char, espresso violets and plum, with that signature coastal sage herbaceousness and spice on the finish. An incredibly balanced textured mouthfeel that has a surprising freshness while still holding lots of body. This wine is ready to drink now and shows deep complexities already and can also age in your cellar for upwards of two decades. 2014 is a vintage with little rain, warm springs and a modest summer, this vintage is a standout of the winemakers for its restraint and freshness with Happy Canyon’s signature barrel aging adding warmth, roundness and a bit of oak.

There is a pretty floral character to this year's estate Cabernet Sauvignon that makes us want to talk about comparisons to left-bank Bordeaux, but again with the dark, red-toned fruit we are so quickly reminded of its true California nature. Perhaps most impressive in this vintage is the silky texture. In the end, this is a distinctively Star Lane Vineyard Cabernet.

The 2019 Star Lane Vineyard Merlot has significant structure that will reward patience. The increase in Cabernet Sauvignon within this year's blend truly ads to the structure of the wine and helps accentuate the rich flavours and textures of Merlot, which tend to show more of the plum and raspberry aromas and flavours in 2019 than we've seen in previous vintages. The darker berry aromas and flavours are definitely from the Cabernet Sauvignon in this year's blend and demonstrate the perfect contrast to the more generous fruit of the Merlot. It's perhaps not coincidental that the 2019 Star Lane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is nearly the mirror image of this wine, its simply that we let the softer and rounder Merlot take centre stage here.

The color is a light straw with flashes of green. Aromas of lemon, lime blossom, green papaya, Gravenstein apple and flinty minerality lead to a finesse-driven palate that is extremely silky. The palate features more exotic flavors of orange, lemon curd and the lightest vanilla with a hint of spice on the long, graceful finish, framed by mouth watering acidity. Aged for 11 months in 33% new French oak.
