Enveloping & Fresh

Daphne is vibrant ruby red, with purple reflections and good transparency. The nose offers a dense bouquet of perfumes, in which the red rose, geranium, ripe red cherry, sweet wild strawberry, some grains of black pepper, and a balsamic puff are perceived. On the palate, she is taut and enveloping, with a pleasant freshness, a marked flavor, and a soft and well-integrated tannin that delicately accompanies the fruit and spice to the end of the sip. Served chilled it proves to be an excellent companion for a a variety of appetizers or a delicate fish fillet, while served at a slightly higher temperature it goes well with more elaborate dishes, such as risotto with tench or a roast suckling pig.
