Tequila Leyenda de México is crafted through a meticulous 7-phase process. It begins with selecting the finest blue agave from Los Altos, Jalisco, where the plants mature for about 9 years. Once harvested, the agave hearts are roasted in masonry ovens for 24 hours and then rested. The roasted agave is milled to extract a flavorful juice called 'mosto', which is then naturally fermented. The fermented 'mosto' undergoes double distillation in stainless steel stills with copper coils, resulting in high-quality tequila. Finally, the tequila is either bottled directly or aged in barrels for 3 to 9 years to produce a range of tequilas from young to Extra Añejo.

Tequila Leyenda de México Wixárika Special Editions comes from the culture and popular Mexican arts appreciation. Inspired by the enigmatic beauty of Wiárika traditional art, the patterns in each bottle tell us a beautiful love history. The special edition Extra Añejo tequila bottle is aged for nine years by The Mexican Tequila Master, Melly Barajas. The indigenous women bead each bottle, known as Wixarika's, and it takes 9-10 days to design each bottle.
Flavors of wood, cooked agave, vanilla, hazelnuts, toasted almonds, black olives, and chocolate become much more pronounced, offering a strong flavor that lingers on the palate.

Due to its balanced aging of 9 years in American and French white oak barrels with Canadian oak chips, the flavors of wood, cooked agave, vanilla, hazelnuts, toasted almonds, black olives, and chocolate become much more pronounced, offering a strong flavor that lingers on the palate.
