Zerillo Honey is locally produced by a third-generation beekeeper in Caledon, Ont. Bees gather nectar from multiple flower varieties near their hives, producing a honey that has varying taste and aroma depending on the variety of flowers in bloom at the time. It takes about eight bees all of their life to make one single teaspoon of honey. Honey is their primary food source, but, fortunately, bees make more than they need to survive, which means that, thanks to our dedicated beekeeper, we get to enjoy it, too.
Zerillo Honey is unpasteurized, allowing it to retain its natural yeasts, enzymes and nutritional properties. Golden amber in colour, rich and smooth in taste and with floral notes, Zerillo Honey imparts a true taste of time and place.
